The contents of our container were delivered to Bendigo the other week. It took eight weeks from Dallas to Bendigo. We are lucky enough to have a decent sized garage to pop it all in. A couple of things were delayed due to quarantine checks by customs. A couple of desk legs needed treatment and Dale's Mustang needed to be cleaned underneath. Last time we brought a container back from the USA, they took one of my son's bike wheels for cleaning, and we never saw it again. We learned our lesson there this time, and Dale had all bike wheels spotless. We half expected the car to have to be cleaned underneath, so that was no big surprise.
We've got enough furniture to furnish another place, which is the plan one day, to take over our investment property, an apartment in the Melbourne CBD. Until then, the garage will remain pretty full. The aim is at least to get to a state of organising for both the Mustang & our Commodore to fit in. Our other car has been booted to the outdoor extremities.
